Social Compliance

Our Commitment

At Antigua Apparel, we are committed to advancing and protecting human rights through our policies, business practices, and partnerships. We respect and value the rights of workers and believe in the right to fair and safe workplace conditions. We demonstrate this commitment through our actions as a company.

In 2014, Antigua launched its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Compliance Management Program to ensure our operations and supply chain partners uphold the principles outlined in the Antigua Code of Conduct. Our program includes factory evaluations, annual self-assessments, training initiatives and ongoing monitoring through audits and vendor engagement.

We continue to strengthen social responsibility across our business practices and have made meaningful progress in transparency, ethical sourcing, and supplier education. Antigua remains dedicated to collaborating with civil society organizations that work to improve labor standards and working conditions throughout the apparel industry.

As a Participating Company affiliated with the Fair Labor Association (FLA), we align our practices with the FLA’s Principles of Fair Labor and Responsible Sourcing. We are proud to be part of a coalition that includes leading apparel companies, universities, and civil society organizations working together to promote responsible business practices worldwide.

Antigua reaffirms its commitment every day to act responsibly, operate with integrity, and support fair and safe workplace conditions throughout our supply chain.

Responsible Sourcing

Antigua Apparel designs, sources, and markets products with the goal of creating value for all stakeholders—from factory partners and workers to customers and shareholders. Central to this commitment is our responsibility to respect internationally recognized human rights and to implement effective human rights due diligence throughout our global supply chain.

Antigua recognizes that responsible sourcing requires accountability, transparency, and collaboration across all levels of the value chain. As part of this effort, Antigua is engaged with the Fair Labor Association (FLA) and is working toward full accreditation of our social compliance program. Through this process, we are strengthening systems that promote responsible purchasing practices, support fair compensation for workers, and expand supply chain transparency beyond traditional tier-one suppliers.

Our social compliance program is designed to identify, prevent, mitigate, and remediate potential risks to workers’ rights. This includes mapping our supply chain, conducting independent third-party monitoring of supplier facilities, and requiring timely remediation of any identified non-compliance. We partner with suppliers that share our commitment to respecting workers’ rights and maintaining safe, fair, and respectful workplaces.

Through continuous engagement with our suppliers, independent assessments, and alignment with the FLA’s standards and monitoring processes, Antigua is committed to driving ongoing improvement and strengthening protections for workers throughout our supply chain.

Factory Transparency

Code of Conduct

This Workplace Code of Conduct outlines the minimum standards, policies, procedures, and working conditions that must be met by our owned operations and suppliers in order to conduct business with Antigua.

Fair Labor Accreditation

FLA evaluates business practices against the highest international labor standards to ensure they advance the rights of workers throughout global supply chains.

Our Commitment to Fair Labor

Antigua Apparel is committed to respecting and promoting fair labor practices throughout our global supply chain. We recognize the fundamental rights of all workers to safe and healthy working conditions, fair treatment, and access to effective grievance mechanisms. Through strong internal policies, responsible sourcing practices, and engagement with the Fair Labor Association (FLA), we work to implement robust systems for monitoring, remediation, and continuous improvement. These efforts support our commitment to ensuring that workers’ rights are respected and protected across all levels of our supply chain.

Forced Labor / Xinjiang Cotton

Antigua Apparel maintains a strict prohibition on all forms of forced labor, human trafficking, and modern slavery within its operations and supply chain. Consistent with our commitment to responsible sourcing and our engagement with the Fair Labor Association (FLA), Antigua conducts ongoing human rights due diligence to identify and mitigate potential risks in our supply chain.

In response to documented human rights concerns in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of China, Antigua undertook a review of its sourcing practices and restructured its supply chain to eliminate potential exposure to the region. Antigua requires all existing and prospective suppliers to verify that raw materials used in Antigua products do not originate from Xinjiang. These requirements are supported through supplier commitments, supply chain mapping, and ongoing monitoring designed to strengthen transparency and reduce the risk of forced labor in our supply chain.
